OITT’s vision is the result of the policy of the “European Moldova 2030” National Development Strategy, of the Sustainable Development Goals of the UN, of the efforts to gradually align with the recent EU policy guidelines, dictated by the need to increase the capacity and competitiveness of the CDI system of USM.
The mission of the Office of Innovation and Technological Transfer consists in promoting and strengthening the role of USM as a strategic partner in the development of the local and regional economy. It represents a sustained effort to align the university with the specific economic and social development needs of the communities, considering the direction towards a society based on knowledge.
Through innovative and collaborative initiatives, the Innovation and Technology Transfer Office aims to contribute to the formation of an educational and research infrastructure that will stimulate economic progress, thus facilitating the exchange of knowledge and promoting sustainability in the region.
In this context, the Innovation and Technological Transfer Office contributes to the implementation of the Development Strategy of the State University of Moldova (2021-2026), by facilitating the development, dissemination, protection, transfer, licensing and commercialization of technologies, inventions and creations of researchers, staff didactic, doctoral students and students of the State University of Moldova.
